Hi, just wanted to post a thank you to the 2 guys who helped grit the road into the estate last monday night (2nd Feb). It was much appreciated as I was stuck & I felt a bit embarassed that I did not thank you at the time as I was concentrating on stopping my car from crashing into someones living-room.....

... Pile on the guilt why don't you; I did stop at the bottom of the hill and spoke to someone who'd given up on trying to get up the hill, but I took a run at it and managed to keep going all the way home. I did think about going back down and helping out those that were stranded, but it was cold and I'm a big wuss

No, it's understandable; the pavement was just as bad & I wouldn't have fancied trying to walk up the hill myself for fear of ending up looking like I was doing my Michael Jackson impersonation all the way up.....or down for that matter!
