Are we on a 2 weekly collection for our recycling bins already?
No pick-ups today, and noticed that last Monday the new larger wheely versions were out and about in other places in Tullibody. Looks like we've been forgotten about - again 
Anybody out there with info on this? If these aren't picked up this week, I'm pretty sure we'll miss next Monday too (Easter Monday), then maybe it'll be another fortnight before they're due to collect again...
UPDATE:
We should have our new bins this Thursday (9th April) and our first uplift of those will be the Thursday 23rd April. Thanks to John Lamond for passing this on.

blue wheelie bins
I phoned to council helpline (THATS A JOKE) to ask for a second blue wheelie bin and i was told NO. Unless you have 6 or more in your household just like the green bins you wont get a second.
My bin like most of the street most likely is, is full to the top. I was told that i can either get a special uplift at the cost of £27 a time or take any extra to the dump ( i cant drive and im sure a taxi wont do that ) or take it to the recycle point behind the co-op down the street, i can see it now carrier bags full of rubbish hanging from the handle of my buggy with my almost 2 year old dangling from the bags.
The council is shouting for us to recyle all our waste but we dont get the help to do it.
